Patient complaint:

• This a 32 year old male patient from porur, who is an engineer by profession, came to our clinic with a chief complaint of severe pain in his upper jaw since 2 days.
• Patient also presented with headache along with tooth ache.

On clinical examination:

• Patient presented with pain in root canal treated tooth on which a metal ceramic crown was fixed(15) and deep dental caries in molar teeth(26) which is tender on percussion and decay in a molar teeth(16)
• Digital photographs and radiographs were taken which revealed presence of infection in the roots of affected tooth.

Preoperative image

Treatment plan:

• 1.Extraction and immediate replacement with dental implant for the RC treated tooth(15)
• 2.Root canal treatment for the deeply decayed tooth(26)
• 3.Filling for the decayed tooth(16)
• 4.Zirconia crowns for both the teeth.

Treatment done and Fixing of zirconia crown:

• On the 1st day, under local anesthesia extraction of the RC treated tooth done implant placed in the extraction site and root canal treatment done for deeply decayed tooth.
• On the 2nd day, filling for the decayed tooth done. And 3D intra oral digital  scanning(measurement) done.
• On the 3rd day, zirconia crowns were fixed.
