Patient complaint:
- A 60 years old male patient who resides at Porur, Chennai came to our clinic with a complaint of mild pain and broken front teeth.
- Patient also said that initially the tooth was decayed, which then broke to gum level.
- It bothers him so much since it was a front teeth, he had difficulty in speaking.
On clinical examination:
- Patient presented with broken upper front tooth(23), which broke till the gum level and only the root part was left inside the bone.
- Since he had pain he had taken some painkillers, which did not give him any relief.
- Patient presented with a medical history of hypertension for which he is on medications.
- Digital photos were taken to see the clinical condition of the tooth and for patient education.

Treatment plan:
- Removal of root stump under local anesthesia using painless injection technique and immediate replacement with dental implant and a fixed provisional crown.
Treatment Done:
- On the 1 st day of treatment, local anesthesia was given in the desired region using painless injection technique.
- The root stump was removed and dental implant was placed in the extraction site.
- 3D Digital scanning done.
- On the 2nd day the crown was fixed onto the implant.
